Kristen Anne Bell is an American singer and actress born in the year 1980. Parents include Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier, both television news directors. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. She has Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen was already an accomplished entertainer at an early stage. She was able to land her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell was appointed by her mom as an agent when she was thirteen years old. She was then selected for newspapers ads as well as commercials on TV. In the same year Bell also started classes in acting. Bell had a role that was not credited in Polish Wedding (1998), a film released in 1998. Bell was a part of the drama and musical club in Shrine Catholic High School. She was cast as Dorothy in the school production of The Wizard of Oz. Bell studied musical theatre at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts in New York City after graduating. Bell graduated from her college in 2001 after she landed the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. She made her first film credits in Pootie Tang during 2001. However, her scene, was trimmed and now Bell's only role is the end credits. The year 2002 saw her first major role. Bell was on the Broadway production of The Crucible with Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
