Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter when she appeared in the TV show One Tree Hill. She played Alex during three of the last four seasons. Kramer was in numerous episodes as a new country artist, which allowed her debut album reach the Billboard 200 Top 20. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed in the Top Ten. In the final decade of her career with a performance on Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised on country music. Although she pursued the acting and recording professions however, her screen debut took place in the independent horror movie Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still at high school. Through the years she was on numerous shows, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the recurring role of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights in the Second season (2007-2008). Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson on 90210 between 2008 and 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. She was added to the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she continued to appear until the finale in 2012, part way in. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. She signed a contract for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I Won't Go Down" during one episode. It later appeared in Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in the year 2012. The track landed in the Top Five of the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The singer focused her attention on her singing career while still acting and was a part of films that appealed her fans including Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016. Kramer launched her second studio album Thirty One together with Warner Music Nashville, in October of this year. I Got the Boy - the album was a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped to make it into the top ten spot on the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. She also scored a hit for adult contemporary in the form of Feels like Christmas with Straight No Chaser.
